According to the newspaper, the employee, a 51-year-old man, worked as a technician at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich but also moonlighted as a freelance artist. The Pinakothek der Moderne contains works by the likes of Salvador Dalí and Henri Matisse, which can sell for tens of millions of dollars. After security discovered the newest addition to the museum’s collections, they promptly took down the display and the man was fired. “The supervisors notice something like this immediately,” Tine Nehler told Süddeutsche Zeitung. This means that the public prosecutor’s office will now decide what happens,” Christian Drexler, chief superintendent of the Munich Police, told CNN. The man was banned from the museum as part of his termination agreement, Süddeutsche Zeitung reported.

ZURICH (Reuters) -A parliamentary investigation into the collapse of Credit Suisse will keep its files closed for 50 years, according to a parliamentary committee document, a level of secrecy that has triggered concern among Swiss historians. The investigation will focus on the activities of the Swiss government, financial regulator and central bank in the run up to the emergency takeover of Credit Suisse by UBS in March. “After the completion of the investigation, the files shall be handed over to the Federal Archives and shall be subject to an extended protection period of 50 years,” the committee said in a strategy paper outlining its communication policy. “Should researchers want to scientifically investigate the 2023 banking crisis, access to the CS files would be invaluable,” Zala wrote, according to the newspaper. “Indiscretions complicate the work or damage the credibility of the commission and can have negative consequences for the Swiss financial centre,” the committee added.

A report published by the Dossier Center reveals what the inside of Putin's luxury train looks like. It also has a beauty room that includes anti-aging machines, the report said. The other cars are fitted with restaurants, a cinema, and a lavish dining room as well as a Turkish hammam steam room and a beauty room, the report said. Johanna Ruf was a nurse in the Berlin bunker where Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler spent his final days. In 2017, she published her memoir on her time in the bunker as the Red Army advanced in 1945. Ruf died at 94, the Berliner Zeitung reported, citing confirmation from her publisher. The Berliner Zeitung reported that Ruf was also one of the last people to see Goebbels' children before they were murdered by their parents in the bunker. Wieland Giebel, who edited Ruf's book, said that he hoped it provided an insight into what really happened at the time, per Berliner Zeitung.
